Hi,
You can try replace line in buildgradle with

compile 
"org.apereo.cas:cas-server-support-json-service-registry:${project.'cas.version'}"

instead of 
compile 
"org.apereo.cas:cas-server-support-json-service-registry:${casServerVersion}"
