The CAS dev/PMC team is gearing up to host community “office hours.” This will be a public, free, non-recorded community call, open to anyone who would like to join. During these sessions, CAS developers and maintainers will make themselves available to engage with community members and discuss all things CAS.
Just like traditional office hours, you’re welcome to drop in to ask questions, share feedback, or simply join the conversation. Each call will last about an hour and will be scheduled at a time that best suits both the maintainers and the broader community. The calls will be hosted on the Apereo BigBlueButton platform. We’ll do our best to accommodate both US and EU time zones. While English is generally preferred, participants are welcome to speak in their own language as long as it’s one that the other party understands. Typical topics might include descriptions of your CAS deployment and your experience so far, plans for future work, features you’d like to enable, see or challenges you’ve encountered. Whether you’re just getting started, considering a migration, returning to CAS, or moving away, all perspectives are fair. That said, discussions should generally remain at a high level; topics that are too deep, highly technical, or unpredictable may need to be handled through other channels. If you’re interested, please let us know here so we can make arrangements. There’s no formal sign-up process; details such as the date, time, and connection information will be posted here a few days before each session once scheduling is finalized, once we know this idea has merit.
