Scott et al, It looks that this deleted piece of code would pretty much do what I needed, except that it was delted on the 39423 checkin. Assuming it was deleted because it was breaking the maven 2.0 build process, any thoughts as to what needed to change make it stay in in the effort of us trying to leverage already written (but apparently deleted) code? With really the only modification is to change the delimter from double colons to single colons as defined in the .htpasswd file for Apache Authentication Basic type. Thanks in advance. -Peter
