FYI -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Maven Repository Move Date: Wed, 17 Mar 2010 10:31:09 -0500 From: Eric Dalquist <[email protected]> <[email protected]> Organization: DoIT To: uportal-dev <[email protected]><[email protected]>, [email protected]
We're moving hosting of Maven artifacts under the org.jasig groupId to the oss.sonatype.org repository. To that end we will be making the release & snapshot repositories hosted on developer.jasig.org read-only tonight which will result in a lot of 'build failed' emails from Bamboo for a few days until we get all of the maven POMs updated. Thursday oss.sonatype.org will copy everything under org.jasig to their repository and we will start deploying new artifacts there instead. The existing maven repositories on developer.jasig.org will remain up while we determine where to host some artifacts that we can't move to the sonatype hosting. Once those artifacts are moved HTTP 301 redirects will be put in place indefinitely to ensure existing releases continue to work. This work should be transparent to most developers and users, only affecting the small group of people that can actually deploy maven artifacts. -Eric -- You are currently subscribed to [email protected] as: [email protected] To unsubscribe, change settings or access archives, see http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/JSG/cas-dev
