Out of the three configuration changes mentioned in this https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Remember+Me

You should also be able to remove all of those binders if you want. The only configuration that is slightly different is how Spring Web Flow 2 allows you to define the domain class (in Web Flow 2 its done in the flow.
