I found a thread from this August where this was discussed and am wondering what the status is at this point.
I'm also hoping for help figuring out how to make use of CAS to integrate with Salesforce.com, where it appears that SF.com seems to only support IdP initiated logins. (I *think* I know how it would work if SF.com could do a full SP initiated login and send the SAML request to CAS). I know I must be missing something obvious, but my google fu does not seem to be up to the task of locating it...
