Are you using the Maven War overlay process to help you manage dependencies? See https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Best+Practice+-+Setting+Up+CAS+Locally+using+the+Maven2+WAR+Overlay+Method for more information. In any case it's very unlikely it's a problem with libraries in your platform Java package.
