Hi all,

we have CAS working with a set of basic applications, and we would now like
to use the SSO with an application that has a different logic.
It is a "shop" like application, where application content can be shown whether
the user is logged-in or not, but of course with slightly different content.

As far as I know, CAS logic is to "force" authentication to be able to access
content.

I see two options:

a) Fake an "anonymous" CAS authentication so that the CAS client can work
as is.

b) Implement a "is user logged-in" method that would only query CAS,
without forcing login,
and show content accordingly.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?
Is there such an "is user logged-in" method (needs to query CAS for logins made
to other applications) ?

I only have experience with "username / password" authentication methods,
perhaps an alternate authentication method would help ?

Thanks for your advice

Georges
