I am wondering if there is a solution or workaround for this issue in the latest CAS. I am using version 3.4.8 and Logout is becoming a problem for me when client applications have clustered setup.
I wrote a patch for clustered assertion storage using JBossCache about a year ago and tested fairly heavily using a set of clustered VMs, and it looked like it was ready for beta testing at the least. The patch never made it into the client, but it's attached to https://issues.jasig.org/browse/CASC-114. I encourage you to take a look and provide feedback. If nothing else your feedback might stir up interest in the feature. The patch demonstrates its' feasible to build the capability into the client. I think we lost inertia on some design issues, but hopefully renewed interest will encourage us to pick up and resolve outstanding issues.
