I just wrote that new document last week. It consists of the concepts we discussed, but simplified and with some added ideas for implementation. It's not really intended to be the "final" spec. It is more of a consolidation of the ideas we discussed.
The original spec document is very cluttered with our original ideas, so I think it is difficult to follow. However, I didn't want to delete anything, such as my original overly-complicated "expressions" idea or your nice diagram, because those things helps people understand the thought process. If you think mine is a reasonable starting point for a new spec, then feel free to edit it directly (no need to use colors like we did in the last one -- just edit the document to add your ideas and change what you think needs changing) and rename the original with chats for archival purposes. If you don't think it adequately summarizes the results of our discussion, then feel free to start a new clean document. -Nathan On 9/11/12 4:32 AM, "jleleu" <lel...@gmail.com> wrote: >Hi, > >Nathan, I don't know this new spec : >https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CAS/Alternative+Level+Of+Assurance+Specific >ation+IDEAS.
