Hi,

Thanks for the answer. If I am not mistaken from your explanation, If the CAS
Server already been setup, what I need to do is just to configure web.config as
the instruction here. Am I correct?

btw, I tried to configure as the explanation above. Once I run the
application,it will go to default.aspx. When I click the login button on right
top of the page, it will redirect me to my CAS Server. However, once I
successfully login, it wont redirect me back to default.aspx and display my
logon name.

Can you please kindly help me what I missed there? I also provide my log file
in attachment, however I can not see what happens on the log file, whether it
was success or not.

best

Hi,

I need to create application in .NET that can communicate with our CAS Server
to authenticate user credentials.

Am I in the right way to follow this instructions?

Yes, for help setting up a test environment.
You should also take a look at
https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASC/.Net+Cas+Client

If I am in the right way, I still confuse on the last section of the
instruction, about "Configure CAS Server Credentials".

This section is help for setting up a test CAS server with the a test
authentication handler.  What it is doing is allowing you to authenticated with
usernames that your application is expecting.

Do I need to touch the CAS Server in order to configure CAS Server credentials?
No, if you already have a CAS server setup for you that can authenticate users.

Best,Bill

 Many Thanks

Best Regards,

Putra
