Hi there,

I integrated (respectively I am currenty still integrating) the CAS server into
a bigger application. By doing so I also heavily customized and/or enhanced
some components inside CAS like login-webflow, authentication-handler, auditing
and stuff like that.

I liked the code-design of CAS and I started to implement a simple
authentication mechanism which accepts also issued logon tickets from SAP
NetWeaver (Portal) in my off-time just for fun.
SAP provides a similar concept with its own SSO tickets. The goal is to
evaulate whether there exist a valid SAP SSO Ticket and if so authenticate the
user behind it to provide a seamless working SSO between SAP NetWeaver and CAS
Server (if not fall back to the username/pwd authentication form).

Now I am wondering whether it would be reasonable to add this stuff also to the
wiki or even incorporate it as an add-on. Maybe some people may find this
helpful? I personally think there exist only very very few use cases for this
scenario, but they may in fact really exist (I read e.g. some few messages in
Sap Community Network regarding SAP NetWeaver-CAS integration scenarios).

Best regards,
Clemens
