Folks,

Here my notes from the 2013-11-06 CAS Release Planning Call.

* CAS4 RC2 is essentially feature complete. Deployers are encouraged
to test this release with local overlays and report back any findings.
 The one outstanding potentially feature related issue is multi-valued
attributes.

* Multi-valued attribute (MVA)
Unicon will be doing testing with RC2 and widely deploy clients.
There was some thought that perhaps MVA should be pushed out to 4.1 or
a later protocol rev. We were going to wait on testing to see what
impact there really is. (or perhaps implemented versioned validate
end-points).

* CAS3.0 protocol spec
Spec is essentially finished, but waiting on final outcome of MVA.
Will be released in conjunction with CAS4 GA.

* 4.0 QA
** Jerome reported having done many successful tests with RC2 and the
Java clients.
** Marvin plans to integrate RC2 with VT overlay for integration
testing with local config and various clients
** Unicon will be testing RC2 with various clients
** Deployers are encouraged to test RC2 and report back any findings
to https://issues.jasig.org/browse/CAS-1381

Best,
Bill
