Sure. Having a title for the block is perfectly reasonable. I did bring up the option with Jekyll folks to see if they could help, but I was told that this kind of thing is better suited as a custom extension, so we are going to have to build our own anyway. I imagine adding a title-like <span> would no problem. What to show on that title and where to get that text from is a bigger problem.
