Hi, It's an interesting new feature. Though, our main target is the version 4.1.0. v3.5.3 and v4.0.1 are just maintenance releases: it means they only have bug fixes and feature backports.
If your feature was already integrated in 4.1.x, I'll be glad to accept it on 3.5.x or 4.0.x. I think the best is to add this new feature into master and keep it on our side as a customization till you upgrade to a release integrating it. Thanks.
