We felt it was an appropriate time to produce a written policy statement to make it clear to organizations that we welcome relevant announcements. We also thought it was important to given them information on how to go about submitting announcements. The resulting policy and process is documented at the following location: http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/JSG/JA-SIG+News+and+Announcement+Policy We will be adding links to this document in a number of relevant places and sending a note out to jasig-announce but I first wanted to give the developers a "heads up."
