I have encountered redirect loops with dotnetcas and forms authentication. This was a while ago for me. But if memory serves it had something to do with the incorrect path where the cookie was being set. I have seen other CAS clients just error out, dotnetcas is the only one that loops on me. Issues can stem from out of sync time, SSL cert trust, incorrect client configuration etc. I would recommend to enable logging on the client to see why it is looping.
