Cool, thanks much :) No need for that; we're on CAS4. We just have a vendor who is saying they won't certify on CAS4 yet, so I'm asking why, and wanted some additional details about their "supported" branch.

Might be good to take that to the PMC. Unofficially, releases tend to last as long as it makes sense for them to last typically a couple of years. We certainly no longer work on or maintain CAS 3, but if you have a patch that you think might be a good fit for 3.x, we could certainly cut a patch release as long as the work is done.
