For us, we're using the Hazelcast method, it's MUCH easier to set up IMO. We have four CAS servers in the cluster - two primary, one secondary, plus one emergency failover on a different environment, all behind a Barracuda load balancer. Previous to getting the load balancer, it was set up with DNS round robin, which worked fine as well.
