I added a 1.7.1 dependency to pom.xml but now get both 1.7.0 and 1.7.1

I've updated my deploy script to delete the 1.7.0 impl/api files and 
everything seems to work. Is there a better way, or does it necessitate 
waiting for the patch you mentioned?
