I tried to read as much manuals as i could read and watched youtube movies.
I have setup CAS 6.0.5 with the overlay and connected it to an OpenLDAP
server.
I even managed to get the management service online and i could eventualy
log in to it.

But i am still confused about how Apereo CAS can and should work. The
manuals describe exactly what you need to do to set CAS settings, but i
can't find guidance's for my particular need.

As far as my knowledge goes today OpenLDAP is not the best place to store
all additional user data like group info and so on. (Yes, group info can be
used in OpenLDAP, but i would want it to be available in MySQL)

For what i know now:

   1. Apereo CAS can talk to OpenLDAP and verify user/pass
   2. It can combine the *exact username of UUID *with the exact same name
   in a (MySQL) database table.
   3. It can create a ticket that is "bound" to the user session
   4. this ticket can be used to verify the user in later stadia of the
user session, like when you want to know if he belongs to group X

Is there anyone who knows a GIT repository with examples of maybe some good
youtube movies regarding the image i have drawn?
