Jeff, Are you asking about a remote rest service authenticating with cas, https://apereo.github.io/cas/6.2.x/protocol/REST-Protocol.html or cas accessing a rest service that performs authentication, https://apereo.github.io/cas/6.2.x/installation/Rest-Authentication.html?
If you are using the remote service an MFA server, some are already available, https://apereo.github.io/cas/6.2.x/mfa/Configuring-Multifactor-Authentication.html. There is also a custom option.
