I was able to get this resolved by adding it as a property in my DB 
Configuration:

String namingStrategy = 
customProperties.getEbizdbsource().getPhysicalNamingStrategyClassName();
Properties properties = new Properties();
properties.setProperty("hibernate.physical_naming_strategy", 
namingStrategy);
