Hi,
The error you received, org.opensaml.SAMLException, suggests that you
should ask your question on the appropriate Shibboleth mailing list.
I'm not familiar with Shibboleth 1.3 but with 2.0 there is another URL
to use to check whether or not your IdP is working. I'm guessing that
is what you want to do.
