Before attempting to deploy CAS, the CAS Client, etc., I would recommend you
familiarize yourself with how Tomcat works such that you can debug errors
that occur when you deploy your applications..

In particular, I would recommend identifying where your Tomcat stores its
application logs, which would tell you why you're getting the error below.
