For the first time, we have a need to return user attributes for one application on our campus. I have everything setup and working in a test environment, but I am wondering about performance. Most of our applications that use CAS do not need any of these user attributes. If an application doesn't use them and isn't granted access to them in the Services Managment app, is an attempt still made to pull these user attributes when those apps authenticate?
My concern is that I am pulling user attributes from a database and I would like to avoid a database hit for the applications that don't need the attributes.
