I've added some functionality to ConfluenceCasAuthenticator for CASShib here at UC Merced. It automatically adds new users to a list of group(s) if it is their first time authenticating if they meet certain criteria based on the attributes shib returns. I want to move some things (like the default groups) into a configuration file. What is the proper method of pursuing this? Adding init-params to the ST Vaildation filter? Or a separate config file in the class path?
