Jeison,

Welcome. It's always good for newcomers to be coming to CAS.

CAS has a user manual in the Jasig wiki. One of those pages is particularly
about configuring CAS to validate the presented username and password against
LDAP (rather than the default behavior of authentication succeeded where the
username is the same as the password.)

Best wishes,

Andrew

Subject: [cas-user] Cas with jboss 5 and openldap?

Hello, I am newbie on CAS and I am trying to configure this tool within jboss
as 5 to authenticate the users for vairous web apps. the users are on openldap
server.

I download the most recent release of CAS (3.3.2) and I unzip the package and I
see this structure:

cas-server-3.3.2
->cas-server-core/
.
.
->cas-server-integration-jboss/
.
.
->cas-server-support-ldap/
.
.
->cas-server-webapp/
->modules
->assembly.xml
->INSTALL.txt
->license.txt
->notice.txt
->pom.xml
->README.txt

within modules directory is the .war file of the webapp and some .jar files
within those

cas-server-core-3.3.2.jar,
cas-server-integration-jboss-3.3.2.jar,
cas-server-support-ldap-3.3.2.jar

I already read the documentation ,,, I copy the cas-server-webapp-3.3.2.war to
the server/default/deploy directory of jboss and I run the server and I point
to http://localhost:8080/cas-server-webapp-3.3.2/

and ok but with admin/admin is ok but how to I do for that authenticate with my
openldap server,,,,please help me to oriented me with this,,,

thanks in advance,

PD. sorry for my english
