A friendly reminder about out of office messages (ironically, the original
title of this message triggered it to be rejected because it thought it was
an out of office message)

All,

As a friendly reminder, if you must be out of the office and are required to
put up an out of office message please configure one that does not send
messages to the CAS lists. At the most it should reply to the individual
and not to the list, though preferably not to anyone at all.

It pollutes the mailing lists and inboxes as well as announces your presence
on the list, which you may not have planned on doing.

Also, unsolicited email has been shown to increase global warming(1). [okay
that might be a bit of a stretch]

Cheers,
Scott
