Amr, Welcome to using CAS.
It is quite possible to use email as the user identifier in CAS. You could simply use email addresses as the user identifier conveyed via the traditional CAS protocol, or you could include email address among the attributes conveyed using an extended, more complex protocol, such as that involving SAML.
