it looks okay.  The only thing I do differently is that my
"hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto" is in the Spring configuration. I.e.
http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CASUM/JpaTicketRegistry

Not sure if that makes a difference at all.
