At this point you are asking how to use Spring Security in your
application, which is far outside the scope of CAS. You will have CAS
integration issues come up but you're not there at this point. Take
some time reading on the Spring Security site and forums, carefully
review the examples provided with the distribution, then get back to
us when you are ready to use CAS as a security provider. I will say
there is no built-in Spring Security UserDetailsService for the SAML
1.1 payload containing attributes that CAS provides. You'll have to
develop your own. In any case it's probably going to require
considerable time and effort to learn enough of Spring Security to
integrate into your project, and only then will you be ready to deal
with CAS-specific issues. Good luck.
