Simply having dependencies documented somewhere outside the POMs would be beneficial and I'm all for it. The downside of having that info on a Maven-generated site is that it's just one more Web site to search for information. (And for some reason the layout of the Maven-generated sites are non-obvious to me.) Additionally, Andrew noted there's a lot of valuable information on www.jasig.org/cas/. I hope we will consider consolidating all the CAS documentation in one place. I can sincerely sympathize with folks who say, "I had a hard time finding X." Frequently I find myself saying the same thing.
