However, in my previous message, I made an error concerning the JBoss cache version. I said it's 2.1, but it's 3.1.0 GA. I'll try to use 3.0.0 GA as this version still has the pojo libraries (I don't know if it's the root cause of my problems, but as there's a warning about a class not found, I'll give it a try). The file should work for you "out-of-the-box." It mentions to place the file somewhere in ... just place it in your WEB-INF/classes directory. NOTE: I am getting an error with using jboss-cache however, org.jboss.cache.lock.TimeoutException: Response timed out: sender=172.18.4.101:1260, retval=null, received=false, suspected=false.
