I would recommend you open a Jira issue, http://www.ja-sig.org/issues/browse/CAS, to develop such a component. I can imagine it would be generally useful. The good news is that it should be straightforward to develop your own in the interim if you're under a tight deadline. I would imagine this component would make a 3.4.x or 3.5 release on the time frame of 1-3 months.
