Hi Scott, We have deployed CAS 3.3.5 on Tomcat 6.0.20 with JBossCache 3.2.1GA with two VM server cluster and it is looking good so far. I will be sharing more details after a week or so.
- CAS 3.3.5 - Tomcat 6.0.20 - JBossCache 3.2.1 GA - READ_COMMITTED isolation level, REPL_SYNC replication mode, JGroups with TCP - 2 VMs with 2 Network Interface Cards (NIC), one NIC for HTTP traffic (tomcat instance) and second for Ticket replication traffic on JBossCache - No Session replication - Load balanced through Virtual IP with sticky session Traffic/Requests (per day, mostly within 12 hour peak period): Logins (form submit): 60k Proxy/Service Ticket Requests: 250k Proxy/Service Ticket Validation: 250k Total 1 million HTTP requests (includes, GET /cas/login, css & images) handled by two load balanced tomcat instances. According to tomcat access logs, 90% of the requests have response time <50ms. Overall, looking good so far. Thanks for all your help.
