An external user of our CAS system has a requirement for user attributes, which we've happily supplied them using the SAML 1.1 capability in CAS 3.3.x. Now they have a new requirement to use proxy authentication in order to work with a downstream noninteractive application.
Is it possible to use both SAML 1.1 and proxying (and how would I set it up?), or do I have to rewrite/extend the Spring controller that handles SAML validation (and possibly the client side as well)? Alternatively, would it be easier to add the attributes to the regular CAS protocol response? Thanks, Rich -- Richard J. Renomeron, Project Lead TCG Yes, it can be done!
