I don't read French at all (and some people even question my English ;-)).
 I would say though that adding a spring dependency (especially an older
uber-jar) would be a very bad thing.

Our LDAP support should be making sure the appropriate jars are added. If
that doesn't help at all, I suppose I can use Google Translate to determine
what it actually said in the email!
