I found the problem, it seems the Solaris tar command will truncate file names
if the tar file was generated by Sun's tar.

Thanks,

In which directory are you invoking the maven build?

What's the full command you are typing?

I know it is supposed to be easy and I have done it before....

I have installed a fresh copy of Maven 2.2.1 and download a fresh cas server
3.3.2 tar file.

And the build still fails, assorted "unable to find resource" messages followed
by:

[ERROR] BUILD FAILURE
[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
[INFO] Compilation failure

/u/dpbw/cas3.3.2/cas-server-3.3.2/cas-server-core/src/main/java/org/jasig/cas/web/ServiceValidateController.java:[14,45]
 cannot find symbol
symbol : class Credentials
location: package org.jasig.cas.authentication.principal

I am running on Solaris 5.10 and Java 1.5.0_06. I am at a total loss.

(Did this get through? They made me change my email address at work today?)
