Thank you, Joachim! I was afraid that this would be the case. So it is correct to assume that whatever application (php, Tomcat, etc) is "hidden" behind mod_auth_cas, it is not able to grab any user attributes other than the username?
It is so easy to use Apeche's "Required" directive to limit the users who can access an application, I was hoping I don't need to use something else...
