Theres no way to audit the records to a MySQL database in 3.4.2?

The Oracle create table script is for reference and convenience. I'm
fairly certain that the MySQL DDL has been posted to the list at some
point. Alternatively, it should be straightforward to adapt the
posted Oracle DDL to MySQL dialect. If you find or create it, feel
free to edit that wiki page and add it for the benefit of others.

Where do I define in auditTrailContext.xml the dataSource?

From the page you cited:

"The configuration assumes there exists a bean named "dataSource" that
implements javax.sql.DataSource defined somewhere in the Spring
application context, e.g. deployerConfigContext.xml"
