But the ID collision could not be happen in my use case.

My use case is that two or more business partners have their own CAS server
(or SSO service), but they want to share resources with each other.
For example, if my client have signed on from his company's CAS server, then
he clicks the hyperlink on the web page and direct to my company's reporting
web system.
My company's CAS service can trust his token and allow him to access my
company's reporting web system.
And the two CAS server use SAML protocal.

I saw the CAS 4 roadmap which mentioned federation on
https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CAS/CAS+Vision+and+Roadmap
However, I cannot wait CAS 4, so I have to search any possibility to achieve
federation on CAS 3.4.2.

Could you please give me advice for my use case?
