I doubt that's the problem. I can see from previous posts you're getting a well-formed SAML response, but it's simply missing AttributeStatement elements. It's hard to imagine a reverse proxy stripping out information in that manner. I'm at a loss to help troubleshoot further without more information. Perhaps you can put org.jasig in TRACE, which should cover both CAS and PersonDirectory, which will hopefully provide some hints. Post logs when you get a chance.
