Please enable the phpcas debug log. [1] This function writes a pretty good trace of the whole login procedure and will probably show what went wrong. Be sure that you have enabled cookies for the cas server and the client pages. If you hit the /login page directly on the cas server after a successfull login you should immediately get a "success" page. Also be sure that you enabled the sso checkbox in the service management gui.

Best Regards,

Joachim

Hi all,

Sorry if this message will sound stupid, but I'm a complete beginner with
CAS (an java in general)...

By following those tutorials I have been successiful in deploying a simple
CAS istallation that reads username and password from a mysql database:
https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Best+Practice+-+Setting+Up+CAS+Locally+using+the+Maven2+WAR+Overlay+Method
https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Using+JDBC+for+Authentication

Moreover the simple example from the php client (
https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASC/phpCAS+examples#phpCASexamples-AsimpleCASclient
from there ) runs without a problem and i can authenticate correctly.

But now i'm a little lost in how to achieve SSO.

I have copied the beforementioned simple example on a different machine on
my local network (with a different ip address), and when I visit one of the
two pages I'm always redirected to the login screen even if I'm already
logged on the other page.

Obviously I'm missing something trivial, but I cannot see what.

Many thanks for any advice on this !
