Just adding my thoughts to this email discussion on mod_auth.

Even 1.0.8 on windows server does not support SLO well.

Along with the options proposed below, a script on the client side to
clean up mod_auth cookie is an option or a work around.

Once you call cas logout you should call the javascript or any other
script to delete the cookies.

I suppose I had assumed you were use Apache specifically to support
mod_auth_cas.  In any case the Windows version you're on precludes the
use of the .NET CAS client + IIS7 that I was thinking might be an
option.

I believe your choices are to try to build 1.0.9.1 on Windows, try
1.0.8.1 which I believe has a Visual Studio build chain, or accept that
the feature you want isn't available for the version you're running.
