Any thoughts from the wider CAS community on requiring Java 6 instead of Java 5 for CAS4?

The code base is currently using a number of convenient Java 1.6 classes (i.e. some of the newer GeneralSecurityExceptions, TimeUnit, etc.). Nothing completely earth shattering, as we could replicate them. But since 1.5 is end-of-lifed, and CAS4 is a little while away, I'm curious as to how many deployers would struggle to upgrade to 1.6 from 1.5 if they wanted to use the new version of Java. Java 6 is four years old at this point, and Java 5 is six years old.
