In first link you have steps, how to setup browser (IE/FF). Logout from CAS if you was authorized before. Go on your CAS server and you should be automatically authorized - LOG IN, without typing login/pass.
Here is no list of running modules. Everything is setup in configuration XMLs mentioned in step by step tutorial.
