You want to leverage the CAS attribute release feature. You need to configure attribute release on the server, https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/Attributes, then configure your clients to request the SAML protocol, https://wiki.jasig.org/display/CASUM/SAML+1.1, which is how attributes are delivered to clients when they authenticate to CAS.
