I tried to update the JARs but they are so intertwined into BEA that I can't seem to get it to work.... Has anyone used eclipse link instead of hibernate for CAS? Will it work?

We've had Weblogic + JPA questions in the past, and the discussion ended which I always assume (optimistically) that the issue was resolved. So that's a weak "yes." > We are having issues with Weblogic and JPA2 > (see http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HV-425 ) The thread mentions what we've discussed on similar posts in the past -- you've got JPA 1.0 somewhere in your classpath that's taking precedence over the required JPA2 for CAS. Searching the list archives for that error is your best bet for a fix -- I think at least someone has mentioned the knob to turn on Weblogic to control classpath behavior.
