When you don't receive any answers, you usually get to work. In the end I managed to get it working. The proper tutorial is on the Zimbra wiki, a remake of the JASIG one, here's the link:
http://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/CASifying_Zimbra_6.0 I was mistaking server-name tag for my CAS server, when it's the zimbra server name. Another important step is importing the server certificate. It won't work otherwise. Hope I helped somebody.
